Live Display Go Full-Screen
First, it's a good idea to see how Live Display works before hooking anything up 🤔. To do this, take out your laptop 💻 (do not use your phone), log into your TacBoard account and click the "Live" button. You should then see a version of your gallery that scrolls automatically and displays your gallery's phone number in the top right corner of the screen 👀. If you don't already have photos in your gallery, text 📱💬 a few photos to the phone number on the screen so you can see them slide out onto your screen and then scroll. Don't worry, you can delete these test photos at any time 😉.
Now that you've seen your Live Display in action, let's set it up on a big screen 📺 or projector 📽️. First, make sure you have everything you need.
If you don't have a TV, projector or HDMI cable ask your DJ.
Make sure you have a modern browser like Chrome or Safari.
Confirm adequate Wi-Fi will be provided by your DJ or venue.
Once you have everything you need, set up is simple.
Go to TacBoard.com and click log in to access your TacBoard account, select your gallery, and click "Live."
Connect one end of your HDMI cable to the laptop. Connect the other end of the HDMI cable to the TV or projector.
Your friends, family and guests can now begin texting photos to your gallery's phone number and those photos will instantly start scrolling on your Live Display. This means more fun for your guests and more photos of you and your event!
On Chrome or Safari: Click "view" > Click "Enter Full Screen > Uncheck "Always show Tool Bar in Full Screen"
To exit full screen: Scroll your cursor to the top of the screen > Click "view" > Click "Exit Full Screen"
